Meet Dwayne A. Hawkins

Dwayne A. Hawkins is a pastor, strategic consultant, chaplain associate, and author whose life and work are shaped by one conviction: that transformation is always possible — in people, in systems, and in the organizations they lead.

He serves as Senior Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska, where he has led the congregation through revitalization, strategic growth, and a deepening commitment to discipleship and community care. His pastoral philosophy is rooted in the Ubuntu principle — I am because we are — the belief that we are most fully ourselves in genuine relationship with one another.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of DAH Consulting LLC, Dwayne brings that same conviction to his work with churches and nonprofits. He specializes in church revitalization, conflict resolution, and nonprofit strategic planning — helping organizations move from survival to sustainability, and from tension to reconciliation.

He also serves as a Chaplain Associate at the Independence Center, a short-term residential addiction recovery program in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he provides soul care and spiritual support to individuals on the journey toward wholeness.

Dwayne is the author of Digital Discipleship: Integrating Care, Growth, and Technology in the Local Church — a practical framework for building care systems, discipleship pathways, and leadership development in the modern church. He has also developed and delivered AI literacy training for ministry leaders, equipping pastors to engage emerging technology with wisdom and discernment.

His work is grounded in professional training and certification — including Strategic Planning certification and training through Ambassadors of Reconciliation — and more than a decade of hands-on experience serving churches and nonprofit organizations.
